Talk of a nuclear renaissance is a dangerous distraction from the real changes we need to make to wean ourselves off oil. The notion that nukes make sense and are the version of green preferred by grown-ups is being conjured by a slick PR campaign. In an effort to jump-start a "nuclear renaissance," the Bush Administration has pushed one package of subsidies after another. Why is the much-storied "nuclear renaissance" so slow to get rolling?
