Susan will overview the geothermal energy industry in Australia and in particular the progress that is being made towards commercialising this renewable resource, especially in South Australia.

Although it appears as if Climate Change has finally appeared on the political agenda there is still much to be done. Governments continue to send out contradictory signals. Everytime you hear of  new transport corridors being constructed, of the need to push for more economic growth, of the willingness to continue to invest in housing that requires massive amounts of heating and cooling and statements about needing to grow our population you wonder how much is really understood about the factors that drive climate change.
